The fabric used on the outside of this corset is almost Edwardian in feel, although the Edwardians would never have dreamed that a lady would expose anything from the wrists to the collar. Nevertheless, the richly patterned gold damask makes this steampunk top perfectly suitable for outfits with a historical inspiration. The generous dark pleats at top and bottom soften the lines and make it a little more feminine. Brass buckle closure at the front and corset lacing at the back.
