The skirt you wear with a corset can completely change the flavour of the outfit. Long, flowing corset skirts can be worn with almost any model on top, to make an instant formal dress. It can be fun (with a cherry print corset for example) or more elegant and refined with something from the Couture range. Floor length, heavily ruffled skirts give any corset a Victorian or Edwardian feel, while sheer or figure-hugging skirts feel more modern.
We're particularly proud of our long, gathered skirts, which work beautifully with anything from the Vintage Goth or Steampunk corset collections. They're a little more distinctive than most skirts and definitely bring unusual something to the party.
Corset tutus make excellent dance costumes and again, they can be worn with almost any corset. If in doubt over colour, remember that black goes with everything. It works with plainer corsets and it works with the brightest and most ornate equally well. They're also very easy on the wallet! Every corset lover should have at least one in their wardrobe.
Tutus are popular with dancers, but it's also worth taking a look at our Special Can-Can skirts. These might look plain enough on the hanger, but like any good skirt of this kind, they are a riot of colour and fun underneath. It's hard to beat the visual impact of a whole line of Can-Can dancers with skirts (and legs) flashing, so these should be a real contender if you're shopping for group costumes.
